Guide
Which mechanical bathroom scale is right for you?
A mechanical bathroom scale shows your weight on a dial – without any battery or power connection: just step on and read. ADE offers mechanical bathroom scales with a large, non-slip weighing surface and metal housing, in a nostalgic doctor's scale design and as a compact model for small bathrooms. If needed, you can adjust the zero setting by hand using a small wheel.

Plenty of room for your feet
Alma has a large, non-slip weighing platform (35 x 31 cm) and a sturdy metal housing. It weighs up to 150 kg in 1 kg increments, and the large dial is easy to read.

Nostalgic design
With its classic doctor's scale design, Victoria is an eye-catcher in the bathroom. Its large dial shows black digits on a white background, and the rubberized weighing platform is non-slip. It weighs up to 136 kg.

Compact for small bathrooms
Short on space in the bathroom? With a footprint of 26.8 x 24.3 cm, Nina is compact, works with a solid metal mechanism and weighs up to 130 kg in 1 kg increments.
Do mechanical bathroom scales need batteries?
No. Mechanical bathroom scales work purely mechanically – entirely without a battery or power connection. You step onto the scale and read your weight directly on the dial.
How do I set the scale to zero?
If the display does not show exactly zero without any load, turn the small adjustment wheel until it is correct. It is best to check this briefly before weighing. Place the scale on a firm, level floor for this.
How finely does a mechanical scale display the weight?
The dial is divided more coarsely than on digital scales – in 1 kg increments on the Alma and Nina. If you want to track changes to within 100 g, a digital bathroom scale is the better choice.
Mechanical or digital – which is right for me?
A mechanical scale is ready to use immediately and works without batteries or electronics. A digital scale shows your weight in finer 100 g increments and, depending on the model, offers extras such as voice output or an external display.
Up to what weight do the scales measure?
The Alma weighs up to 150 kg, the Victoria up to 136 kg and the Nina up to 130 kg. If you need more capacity, you will find models up to 250 kg among the digital bathroom scales.
